CLOUD BURSTS —
BY Rosie Dalton

Frozen Daffodils
by Rosie Dalton

We drove the sunrise drive,
to heal hurting hearts
and felt alive,
as light pierced the morning mist

We picked frozen dandelions,
and floated atop the clouds
listening to Pink Floyd,
turned up loud

Breathe
breathe in the air

It lifts,
the shroud
softly, slowly

And you are not yet two months
for the world
earthside,
yet also otherworldly
